Corps Commander calls on CM

 

Corps Commander Karachi, Lt General Naveed Mukhtar, called on the Sindh Chief Minister, Murad Ali Shah at CM House on Thursday.

Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, said that the Provincial Apex Committee had decided on most of the important issues under its purview. As a result, not only had peace returned to the city, but sectarian harmony was developing across the province.

He thanked the Corps Commander for his valuable input in the Apex Committee meeting and for his support of the Sindh government and the police by equipping them with the latest gadgets and training.

The Corps Commander Karachi said that the Sindh government was performing well under the active leadership of the chief minister.

“It is good that you are giving special attention to the development of the city,” he said, adding that after a lengthy and strong cleanup operation, rehabilitation of this terrorist-ravaged city would be the thing that made the peace stainable.

“It was with our collective wisdom, efforts and strong strategy that the Sindh government successfully managed to defeat terrorists, extortionists, target killers and terrorists operating in Karachi,” said the chief minister.

The Corps Commander Karachi said that the Sindh government was performing well under the active leadership of the chief minister. “This is very good that you are giving special attention to the development of the city,” he said added that after a lengthy and strong cleanup operation rehabilitation of this terrorist-ravaged city would make the peace sustainable.

The two agreed that there would be no compromises on peace, and that the targeted operation against terrorists and criminals would continue.
