An impressive Christmas play “Christmas to believe in” was presented by grade-1 to grade-6 students of the Light of Hope School – a lab school of the Forman Christian College the other day.

The programme arranged at the Sinclair Hall, was graced by FCC University Rector Dr James Tebbe as the guest of honour and attended by teachers as well as parents and siblings of the students.

Christmas carols were also sung by the students during the programme.

Later, in his concluding address, Rector Dr Tebbe appreciated the efforts of the students and staff.

“The performance by the students was much better than the last year and I hope that they will further improve in the future as well,” he said.

Lab School Principal Furry Naveed said the theme of the play was meant to make people familiar with the story of Christmas.

The Light of Hope School is an on campus facility at FCC designed to provide quality education to more than 200 under-privileged children whose parents are working as support staff at FCC and who live in the surrounding area.
