Mohammad Asif looking for ways to be part of national cricket team

Mohammad Asif is considering writing a letter to International Cricket Council (ICC) to get information if they have barred Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) from including him in the national team.

He also advised PCB Chief Shaharyar Khan to leave the matter of Salman Butt and his inclusion in the team on chief selectors.

Asif expressed concerns over not inviting him in training camp to show his performance.

Talking to media, fast bowler termed Pakistan’s bowling attack as average and said that positive outcomes can only be achieved through hard work.

He said that he has found nothing special in Rahat Ali, Sohail Khan and Imran Khan Junior while he expressed satisfaction over his own performance.

“Green shirts always get such wickets that are feasible for spinners,” he added while expressing disappointment over Dubai matches.

He also said that playing continuously on slow wickets is the damaging standard of Pakistani cricket.

Asif appreciated Amir’s come back but said that he is not performing up to the mark due to not getting support.
