Fire erupted in a flour mill on Monday located at the eastern bypass of Quetta causing huge financial loss.
The blaze broke out due to short-circuit and swept through the whole mill.
Flour sacks worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes, however, the workers remained safe in the incident.
According to mill owner and employees, fire brigade officials were informed of the blaze immediately but they reached the scene after a delay of half an hour.
Due to the late arrival, the fire could not be controlled instantly and resulted in a huge loss. At least six fire fighters doused off the blaze after hectic efforts of one and a half hour.
Recently fire cases have increased manyfold including one in Gadani, Oil terminal Karachi, paint factory SITE Karachi, Ritz Hotel Karachi and Office of the Auditor General in Karachi.
