“We don’t need helmets”

Riding a motorcycle is fun yet economical. In developing countries like Pakistan, most of the people cannot afford a car. Hence, motor cycles are the popular way to commute.

However, the problem is that more than 60% people do not wear helmets. They only wear it in restricted areas where they are not allowed to enter without a helmet and they remove it as soon as they are inside, as no one is on watch.

The Government should take serious notice of this situation and pressurize the authorities which are responsible for the safety of commuters. Currently, it is very easy to bribe a traffic police personnel and get away with not wearing a helmet.
