The Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO), ‘Help Age International’ and Social Welfare Department on Sunday jointly held a one-day seminar in connection with the International Human Rights Day at Jaccobabad Institute of Medical Sciences.
Speakers included Manzoor Jalbani, Rafiq Soomro, Shahzado Khaskheli and others addressed the seminar which was largely attended by students and faculty members.
Speaking on the occasion, the speakers mentioned that the Islam introduced the concept of rights to human beings on equal grounds. The Constitution of Pakistan enlists human rights on the lines of Universal Declaration of Human Rights as well.
The representatives of disabled social welfare organizations, AHSAS, City Forum and a large number of special children from special education schools Jaccobabad participated in the event.
