Lyari General Hospital Physiotherapy Department Chief Medical Officer Dr Munir Ahmed Shaikh on Saturday requested the additional medical superintendent (Admin) of the hospital to take notice of some threatening banners displayed in the hospital against doctors by certain elements.
Dr Munir wrote a letter to AMS (Admin), stating that the banners displayed in the hospital on Saturday were aimed at hurling threats to doctors and trying to create a tense atmosphere making it very difficult for doctors to work under these circumstances.
While talking to the media, Dr Munir Ahmed said the threatening banners have been displayed in different areas of hospital against the doctors, therefore, the doctors have decided to meet Health secretary on Monday and also lodge complaint to AMS (Admin) in this regard.
