Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) on Monday invited applications from its member companies for the Game Developers Conference (GDC) scheduled to be held in San Francisco next year.
GDC-2017 is the world’s largest professional game industry event, attracting thousands of attendees every year.
The GDC is primarily a forum for game programmers, artists, producers, designers, audio professionals, business managers and others involved in the development of interactive games and virtual reality applications. It attracts over 27,000 professionals every year and features more than 500 lectures, panels, tutorials and round-table discussions.
It also features an annual Independent Games Festival, the longest-running and largest festival for independent games worldwide.
PSEB is a government-run institution and wants to sponsor Pakistani businesses in showing their expertise and skills at the global event.
