Police on Wednesday carried out an operation in the Pak Colony area and recovered three kidnapped men.
According to police sources, the people had been abducted for ransom. The main suspect was arrested along with eight others during the raid.
The rescued persons and suspects have been shifted to an unknown location for investigation.
Meanwhile, two people were apprehended in injured condition by police, after a police encounter in the Nazimabad area. Police also claimed to have recovered illegal weapons and drugs from the possession of the detained suspects.
