Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) on Wednesday revealed to the press that 34 illegal immigrants had been arrested during snap checking at the Shah Jahan Road area of Baluchistan.
They were detained while trying to cross the Iran border. The detainees have been handed over to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further investigation.
In a statement, PCG said that it had increased its actions against illegal immigrants in country as part of Zarb-e-Azb. He further said that the arrested persons are Afghani.
It may be noted that PCG have apprehended 1455 illegal immigrants since January 1, 2016 to date.
