APHC concerned about pellet victims’ plight

All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has expressed serious over the plight of pellet victims, saying that the recent reports of the ophthalmologists from the health care centre were alarming and worrying.

According to KMS, the APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said such a situation is distressing and disturbing that how the tall claims of so-called world’s largest democracy are just a hoax and lip service when actually they vengefully ruin the life of populace by blinding and crippling them for life.

He said, “Such lethal and fatal weapons are nowhere used, but we are being punished and penalised only for our faith and resolve for our freedom.”

Meanwhile, Tehreek-e-Hurriyet (TeH) in a statement in Srinagar condemned slapping of draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) on its leader Hamza Shah and detention of its activists including Omar Farooq Dar, Bashir Ahmad Sofi and Sarjan Ahmad, saying “These arbitrary arrests and detentions won’t deter us from pursuing the sacred cause of freedom.”
