PFA seizes 3200kg contaminated beef in Rawalpindi

Punjab Food Authority (PFA) seized over three thousand kilograms of contaminated beef during a raid here on Wednesday.

A PFA team headed by Deputy Director Operations Fareeha Anwar conducted a raid in Bhabra Bazar of Rawalpindi. During the operation, 3200 kilograms of contaminated beef brought from Mandi Bahauddin was seized.

A case has been lodged against the accused party for endangering the health of citizens and a search is being conducted to arrest the accused.

The contaminated beef was later disposed of.
