Pakistan army has denied rumours about the posting of Lt. General Aamir Riaz on Monday.
Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Asim Bajwa clarified in a tweet that any news regarding postings or promotions of Lt. Generals in Pakistan army is untrue and baseless.
Postings:Any postings/promotions being circulated on media/social media today are untrue and rumour mongering.Will update whenever decided

Earlier, the rumours were circulating on local and social media that Corps Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Aamir Riaz was appointed as Chief of General Staff.
