Modi lives in fool’s paradise to think he can block water flow to Pakistan: AJK PM

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi lives in fool’s paradise if he thought about blocking the water flows to Pakistan.

“India can’t stop flow of water of Kashmir to Pakistan, as it belongs to Kashmiris,” Haider said while talking to various delegations from different walks of life in the state’s capital city on Sunday.

He said Modi’s statement was nothing more than a political gimmick.

Raja Farooq Haider said that confrontation between India and Pakistan would prove devastating not only for the region, but also for the whole world.

AJK PM said Modi was frustrated due to recent uprising of the people in India-occupied Kashmir against Indian oppression.

He said the people of IOK had rendered unprecedented sacrifices and Indian forces could not discourage the movement despite the use of brutal force.

He said Modi had tried to divert the attention of world community from the Indian atrocities in held Kashmir by giving various false statements, but failed badly to achieve his target.

He said the people of Jammu and Kashmir were demanding their just right to self-determination which was guaranteed by the international community through UN resolution.

He demanded the international community to take cognition of Indian atrocities, especially use of pellet guns by Indian forces in IOK and said that was the clear violation of UN charter.

“It is most brazenly and shamelessly targeting the civilians across the Line of Control.

The bullets can’t differentiate between armed men and civilians, and the bloody line across our homeland is turning deep red with the blood of Kashmiris with each passing day,” he said.
