Terror bid foiled: caches of arms recovered in Chaghai, one terrorist held

Security Agencies  foiled a major terror bid and recovered huge cache of arms from Chaghai and Dera Murad Jamali in Balochistan on Sunday.

According to reports, on a tip off, F.C carried out a search operation in Chaghai and recovered a huge of the cache of arms in a compound. The weapons included rocket launchers, hand grenades, IEDs and explosives.

The sources added that the arms and explosives were to be used for terror activities in the Province. However, no arrests could be made as the outlaws fled the scene before the arrival of the FC personnel.

In the other operation, FC arrested four suspected terrorists of a banned organisation and recovered arms and ammunition from their custody in Dera Murad Jamali. They have been transferred to an undisclosed location for further investigation.

Meanwhile, officials said that a terrorist of a banned organisation was arrested on Sunday on Quetta’s airport road and arms were recovered from his custody.

After these  recoveries and arrest, the authorities have enhanced the security along Pak-Afghan border.
