Rawalpindi DHQ Hospital to be upgraded

A decision has been taken to upgrade District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi.

Board of Management of Allied Hospitals Authority and Rawalpindi Medical College has decided to upgrade DHQ Hospital to provided better healthcare facilities to the masses.

The decision of up-gradation was taken after reviewing and expressing satisfaction on the progress about health schemes at Holy Family Hospital and Benazir Bhutto General Hospital.

The board of management of Allied Hospitals Authority and Rawalpindi Medical College also expressed satisfaction over medical facilities being provided at the hospitals.

According to sources, an important meeting has been called on December 1st at DHQ Hospital where the progress of the ongoing up-grdation projects of various hospitals would be reviewed. A final approval for up-gradation of DHQ hospital would also be given.
