Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said here on Sunday that
Jahangir Badar was a seasoned politician and an asset for the country.
He was talking to the media after offering condolences and fateha for the departed soul at his residence. MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema, SM Zafar, Salik Hussain and Ali Badr were also present.
Paying tribute to Jahangir Badar, he said, “Despite belonging to a different political party, Badar had great respect for me. He was my companion during a tour of Afghanistan, we had very friendly relations and he had great knowledge and study of Sufi poets,” Shujaat added.
Ali Badr, son of the late Jahangir Badr, expressed gratitude to Ch Shujaat Hussain.
