Indian forces resort to unprovoked firing in AJK’s Sher Camp

In another violation of LoC ceasefire agreement, the Indian forces on Saturday resorted to unprovoked shelling on Sher Camp sector in Azad Kashmir.

Pak Army befittingly responded to Indian aggression.

Earlier on Friday, Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said, “Targeting of innocent civilians in the ceasefire violations along the LoC is being highlighted at international forums.”

“The heads of the missions of the five UN Security Council permanent members in Islamabad were briefed on the LoC situation,” he said.

“The matter was raised at the United Nations forum as well,” Zakaria added.

Army Chief General Raheel Sharif had warned on Thursday that if ever Pakistan launched surgical strikes, India would not be able to forget it for generations.

“India would be teaching its children as part of syllabus what a surgical strike means if Pakistan launched such strikes,” General Raheel Sharif said just days before his scheduled retirement.
