Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Friday held a meeting with Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah in Dubai.

During the meeting, they decided to challenge the Sindh High Court’s (SHC) recent order in the Supreme Court (SC).

The recent order of SHC declared Murtaza Wahab’s appointment as the CM’s adviser illegal.

For this purpose, a three-member legal committee has also been formed which include Farooq H Naik, Aitzaz Ahsan and Lateef Khosa.

Barrister Murtaza Wahab was also present at the meeting whose appointment as CM’s law adviser has been declared illegal by SHC.

A consultation was also made regarding appointments of advisors in Sindh.

  1. Likely to be an interesting legal battle. Top PPP legal brains have been hired to defend the Sind Government decision. By the way, this is tenth visit by the Sind CM to take a dictation across the Arabian Sea. One PPP Chairman across the Arabian Sea – another in Pakistan and a Third could be in Sukker. Even two boats are enough for a sure doom.
