Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Friday said that the negotiations with India would take place only if Kashmir issue is already on the agenda.

He was addressing the National Assembly, where he said that Indian aggression across the Line of Control would be given a befitting response. In his speech, Aziz said that Pakistan would not come under any sort of pressure or influence. He said that Pakistan wanted peace and was active on the diplomatic front.

Regarding the situation on the LoC, Aziz said that letters have been written to the permanent five of the United Nations. In the session, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif also addressed the house and said that India was stirring extremist sentiments among its people to garner votes.

He said, ‘If India imposes war on Pakistan, Pakistan will fight valiantly. India has been spreading terrorism in Pakistan for a long time’, he said adding that Pakistan has solid evidence to give to the international community.
