ANP leader arrested for pointing gun at traffic constable

 

 

Awami National Party (ANP) leader Muhammad Gul was arrested on Friday for pointing pistol at a traffic constable in Lower Dir.

The leader was stopped by the traffic police for breaking the traffic signal in Timergarh. However; he became furious and said, “Don’t you know who am I?” He also pulled out his pistol and pointed it at the constable. Police took the leader into custody and locked him up in the police station.

Police said that a case has been registered against Muhammad Gul over threatening and abusing the constable and under Weapon Ordinance.
