A three-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Justice Saqib Nisar, adjourned the hearing of a case against Imran Khan and Jehangir Khan relating to the offshore companies till Wednesday next.
Notices have been issued on the request to make the Federation and the Election Commission as parties in the case.
Advocate Naeem Bokhari sought time to study the case on the plea that he would be representing Imran Khan in place of Hamid Khan.
Barrister Akram Sheikh argued that as the case pertains to offshore companies it should be clubbed with Panama Papers case.
Justice Saqib Nisar said it is prerogative of the Chief Justice to refer the case to any bench.
