The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources has clarified that the reserves of petroleum products are available in sufficient quantity to meet defence needs of the country.
In a statement issued here on Monday, the ministry said that currently the reserves of petroleum products were as per routine requirements. It added that an effective mechanism was in place to constantly monitor the stock of petroleum products by holding fortnightly meetings.
