Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday said that the return of his father former president Asif Ali Zardari’s had been decided and its final date would be determined by the party.

‘A public gathering will be held to welcome Zardari in Rawalpindi, Lahore or Karachi,” he said while talking to media at the residence of PPP leader Ashraf Bhatti in Lahore. He said his focus was on democratic accountability of the ruling government, foreign policy of Pakistan, China Pakistan Economic Corridor project and eradication of terrorism.

To a query, he said that he would not comment on Imran Khan’s moves because journalists used to trap him on that. Bilawal said National Action Plan had become N-League plan. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has failed to maintain peace, he said.

He expressed the hope that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would have decided the name of new army chief on merit. The PPP chairman also said the political leadership should express solidarity with the people of Shia community who were being murdered.

Earlier, Bilawal also participated in a Chehlum Majlis at Imambargah Darbar Hussain on Bedian Road.
