Unidentified people on Monday killed eight donkeys in Sargodha by poisoning, detached their skins and fled.
Police said that unknown accused killed eight donkeys by injecting them with poisonous inoculation in Lilliani Town of Sargodh district. The culprits after killing the donkey pulled their hides and fled, rendering hundreds of thousands rupee loss to the owners.
The donkey hides export has been banned through legislation in the parliament after increase in its illegal trade, as it was being used for manufacturing cosmetics abroad.
