All Pakistan Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Employees Welfare Association has announced a ‘Pen Down’ strike from November 23 (Wednesday) in favour of their demands.
Secretary Information, All Pakistan BISP Employees Welfare Association, Moheed Abbasi said that the BISP employees were facing multiple issues including rules and regulations, service structure, issuance of service book, GP fund deduction, medical facilities, regularizing the dialling wagers and contract employees of the program.
He said that the federal government and BISP management were not serious in resolving issues faced by the employees. Due to the non-serious attitude of the government and the BISP management, the employees at one hand were deprived of basic facilities and on the other hand were overage to apply in any other organization.
He said that the decision of the ‘Pen Down’ strike has been taken during the meeting held under the President of the Association Sardar Sheraz.
Moheed Abbasi said that the strike will be held t BISP Headquarters in Islamabad, all divisional offices and at tehsil levels.
