Light rain-thunderstorms with light snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas while cold and dry weather is to persist in other parts of the country in next 24 hours.

A fresh westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during the current week, an official of the Met Office told APP.
