Akram Sheikh, lawyer for the children of prime minister Nawaz Sharif, submitted a letter signed by the former Lord of Casterly Rock and two-time Hand of the King at King’s Landing, the late Lord Tywin Lannister on Saturday.
The letter stated that the London properties of the Sharif family were all purchased after a series of business arrangements between the two families.
“Our houses, sharing the same sigil animal, have a long history of cooperation and our businesses have also worked together fruitfully,” said Ser Jaime Lannister, speaking to reporters about his late father’s letter.
“There was the matter of the chain of venison nihari restaurants that the Sharif family helped us set up in each of the Free Cities and a smelting station of Valerian steel in King’s Landing,” continued Ser Jaime. “So, we were in their debt and, you know what they say about Lannisters’ debts…..”
“My Lords, I hope this letter finally puts this issue to rest,” said Akram Sheikh, in the court on Saturday.
Though the bench did not think the issue had been put to rest, it did comment that the letter certainly was more believable than the other submissions by the Sharif family in this regard.
good one
