The federal government has approved provision of gas to 40,000 households in Karak and Hangu districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The official sources revealed that the project would be completed at a cost of Rs 7 billion. Out of which, Rs 4 billion would be provided by the provincial government. In the first phase, the gas facility would be provided to domestic consumers residing within five km radius of the gas wells in both districts.
