International Men’s Day is being observed on Saturday with a commitment to reinforce the concepts of gender equality in the society.
The day is being observed in over 70 countries including Pakistan to highlight the role of male members particularly in consonance with the female strata of society to pursue gender balance.
This year theme of the day is Stop Male Suicide as some recent researches have shown a strikingly increased rate of suicide in males as compared to females.
