MSA arrests dozens of Indians, seizes boats

The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency in an operation along the eastern sea border detained several boats and arrested dozens of Indians.

According to the sources, the boats and arrested individuals were moved to Karachi. The MSA in coordination with the Pakistan Navy has beefed up maritime surveillance, the sources added.

On Friday, the Pakistan Navy detected an Indian submarine and prevented it from entering territorial waters. According to a press release, the unsuspecting submarine was detected and localised south of Pakistani coast on 14 November. Thereafter, despite the submarine’s desperate efforts to escape detention, it was continuously tracked by the Pakistan Navy Fleet units and pushed well away clear of Pakistani waters.
