Group of alleged Daesh terrorists apprehended

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out a search operation in Lahore and apprehended a group of alleged terrorists of banned organization Daesh.

The CTD officials said that the arrested chief of this group, identified as Nabeel Abi Abdullah, resident of Lahore, was involved in sending people from Lahore to Syria and Afghanistan in the name of Jihad. It was further told that ring leader of the group has dispatched several people to Syria and Afghanistan so far.

They also said that the CTD has been conducted search operations since the last three months for the arrest of this gang and now they were apprehended after full investigation.

  1. It was indeed comical to watch ‘brave’ Punjab Policemen casually dressed without weapons barring one man, raid a poor man’s house and apprehend couple of boys and a grownup! What a shame. This is how Shabaz Police operates. Soon they will be killed in an ‘attempt to escape’.
