Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman lamented Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) decision not to attend the joint sitting of the Parliament which was addressed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday.
Talking to media outside the Parliament House, Fazl said that the PTI chief should have participated in the joint sitting as the Parliament was the supreme forum to address all the issues.
“There is dire need to promote relationship at all levels among Pakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia to strengthen the Muslim Ummah,” he said. The JUI-F chief said that Turkey always supported Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir issue but speech of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Parliament would further boost the morale of Kashmiris.
“The visit of Turkish president will further strengthen the brotherly relations between the two countries in all the fields,” he added.
