The Counterterrorism department (CTD) on Thursday apprehended eight suspected terrorists here.
CTD on a tip–off arrested more than eight suspected terrorist in a targeted operation in different areas of Lahore.
One of the suspects was arrested with his companion and identified as Nabeel and another as Abdullah.
CTD official stated that both terrorists were members of banned outfit Hizb-ul-Tehrir and promoting the hatred Literature on the internet and perusing the innocence persons to join the organisation and sent them to Afghanistan and Syria. Reports say that laptops and literature was recovered from their custody.
Police shifted them to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
