The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday heard a petition submitted by Pakistan People Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for the arrangement of his personal security.

A division bench of the SHC headed by Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah heard the PPP co- chairman’s petition. In the petition, Bilawal Bhutto said that he has been receiving death threats and that his mother Benazir Bhutto had also lost her life to those who made such threats.

The Sindh Government has submitted its reply in the case and said that it is “ready to give security, though the police needs some time to make their arrangements.”

The court accepted the request of the police, and adjourned the hearing till November 24th, giving the federal government a week to file their reply.
