Cousin of late ex-PM Benazir Bhutto arrested

Mushtaq Bhutto, a cousin of late ex-Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has been apprehended during a search operation by a law enforcement agency in Gulshan-e-Johar.

The law enforcement agency personnel raided a residential building on Tuesday, arrested a senior PPP leader Mushtaq Bhutto, and shifted him to an undisclosed location for investigation.

According to police sources, the suspect was apprehended for interrogation in connection with several matters, including corruption.

Meanwhile, the family members of Mushtaq Bhutto submitted an application at Shahrah-e-Faisal police station against this incident.

Mushtaq Bhutto is among the senior leaders of the PPP and was an advisor of Benazir Bhutto. He was accompanying Benazir Bhutto when the Charter of Democracy was drafted in London.
