Three PPP leaders fall prey to pickpockets in Jahangir Bader funeral

Three PPP leaders got their pockets picked while attending the funeral of Jahangir Bader here on Monday.

The victims included Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah and Manzoor Wasan.

The PPP leaders were gathered in Punjab University Law College Ground to offer funeral prayers of Jahangir Bader. The pickpockets demonstrated their expertise and targeted Syed Khursheed Shah, Syed Murad Ali Shah and Manzoor Wasan after the funeral prayer was offered.

Khursheed Shah lost Rs 18,000 to 20,000, while Sindh CM and Manzoor Wasan lost their cell phones. The PPP sources confirmed that all the three leaders were pick-pocketed and that happened at the time when there was a rush and those leaders were stuck among the people.

  1. Funny as well as serious. Funny because those selected were all PPP leaders from Sind and serious because if people like them are not safe, what can be said of a common man. Manzoor Wasan did not dream this time !
