The government has decided to constitute a joint investigation team (JIT) to investigate Shah Noorani bomb explosion. JIT would be headed by Khuzdar Deputy Commissioner.
Shah Noorani bomb explosion was being probed form different aspects. Forensic teams form Punjab would reach there in two days for investigation. The identity of suicide bomber hasn’t been ascertained yet, as his head was sent for forensic.
These views have been stated by Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti while speaking during his visit to Shah Noorani shrine on Monday.
Balochistan Chief Secretary Saifullah Chatha also accompanied him while Kalat Division commissioner briefed them about the incident. They also talked with the administration of the shrine and local people, and sought information of this brutal terror act. They also directed police, Levies and the administration for comprehensive planning for the security of shrine.
The home minister said that Shah Noorani shrine has been closed for one month till completion of investigation. Auqaf Department would look after Shah Noorani shrine from now on.
Meeting directed all the divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners to adopt comprehensive measures for the effective security of all the dargahs and mazars (shrines). It was also decided a meeting of divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners and DIGs would be called in, where overall law and order situation and security measures would be reviewed.
Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri thanked Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Sindh Health Minister and Sindh government for providing treatment facilities to the injured of Shah Noorani shrine bomb explosion.
Sarfraz Bugti said, “Terrorist organisations and their facilitators, who targeted innocent children, women and aged devotees, would be taken to task.” He said Levies officials were present for guarding Shah Noorani shrine, but arrangements were not satisfactory and this incident took place.
