Advisor to the Chief Minister Sindh on Information Moula Bux Chandio paid the heartiest tribute to the great saint and poet Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai on the occasion of the poet’s 273rd annual Urs.
In a statement here on Monday, he said that Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai promoted the message of love, affection and harmony all over the world, and that the great poet has preserved the culture of Sindh in his poetry which would live forever.
Moula Bux Chandio said that Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai promoted peace, harmony, and tolerance across the world and that this can help us in curbing extremism.
The government of Sindh is making efforts to promote the teachings and message of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai across the world. He said that in the saint’s poetry, we could clearly see the message of brotherhood, distance from religious extremism, and love for peace, which was reflective of Sindh’s inclination towards Sufism.
He said that lovers of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai are present not only in Pakistan but all around the world and that his collection of great poetry ‘Shah jo Risalo’ has been translated into multiple languages.
He said that Latif Sain by his character taught the world a lesson of constant struggle towards the welfare of humanity.
Moula Bux Chandio said that Latif Sain had devoted himself to mysticism and tranquillity and that his poet words are syrupy and incomparable to other poets.
He further said that the Sindh Government is making all-out efforts for foolproof security measures for the Urs.
He added that all kinds of facilities were being provided to the devotees, who will be coming not only from Sindh, but from every nook and cranny of the country for the 273th Urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai.
