Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan left Islamabad for London on Sunday for medical check up.
The minister was to proceed to London earlier but had postponed it due to threat by PTI for Islamabad lockup.
The interior minister during his stay would also meet the British Home secretary and foreign secretary to discuss relations between the two countries. The Interior Minister during meeting with British Home secretary would particularly discuss progress on Imran Farooq murder case.
They go because they can. Even the PM was in London for change of heart (and received a younger heart said Shahbaz Sharif). This is why he stood all that tension at home. Last year, the American Ambassador was treated in a local Islamabad hospital and was all praise for the professional standards. Our own leaders don't trust our own professionals. That makes the difference.
Let us be charitable towards Our interior minister. He is just following the national trend since the birth of the nation( the founder of the nation excluded). The late President Ayub went to Uk ffor his treatment(follow up). The late President Leghari had his surgery in US. President Zardari has had his Medical investigations abroad too. President Muaharraf did not trust his military doctors too. He wanted treatment abroad too and went! The PM has had his CABG in London. The CM of punjab has a rare form of spinal cancer and needs physiothrapy in UK. The list goes on and on. This is despite the fact the Shariff Brothers are providing the state of art facilties to the masses which are not good enough for them. Just look across the border. Do Indian PM or Presidents or any other prominent politicians travel outside the country for treatment? Good Luck Mr Nisar. You are like others combinig treatment With work at tax payers expense.!
In spite they did not survive. Zardari goes to urine in London/Paris and Dubai because he could as President and then he has amassed mountain of 10% money. Mushrraf had more of an escape than treatment. PM Nawaz Sharif did not go for any treatment either. He too had escaped temporarily but returned after got clearance by Hamzulf Mr Dar. Even Manzoor Watoo had gone to US for treatment of common cold !
This is an insult to medical facilities in the country. This ‘visit’ was necessary to sort out Cyril Meida report. This is how they are broughtup in politics. Lies lies and lies.
