Moreover, photographer, painter, sculptor, author and now a filmmaker, Mobeen Ansari is also set to screen his film at the coveted Jaipur International film festival in India.

Initially, his film was selected by Seattle South Asian film festival and New Orleans film festival.

‘Hellhole’, Mobeen Ansari’s documentary short on conservancy workers in Pakistan and ‘Little Red Roses’, Asim Abbasi’s short film about a young girl who dresses up as a boy to sell roses on the streets of Karachi are ones among the shortlisted.

The Jaipur Film Festival will run in Jaipur from January 7-11, 2017.
