The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) have joined hands as the duo had organised a five days training program for NAB officials on “Financial Crime Investigation” at the NBP’s staff college, Karachi.
The program was inaugurated by DG NAB Karachi Lt Colonel(R) Sirajul Naeem on November 7, which concluded on November 11th. Thirty participants including NAB’s additional directors, deputy directors, assistant directors and deputy assistant directors from all over Pakistan took part in the training program.
The objective of the program was to educate NAB’s officers on how to investigate fraud and forgeries related to banks. The NAB’s Karachi director general obliged NBP in a closing ceremony for organising an operative training program for NAB’s officials.
He was also assured about the effectiveness of training outcomes that would assist investigation officers regarding their critical assignments with the well equipped knowledge and broader understanding of the subject.
The NBP President, Syed Ahmed Iqbal Ashraf expressed his gratefulness to NAB for keeping trust and confidence on NBP to construct an absolute image of collaboration that would be helpful for the entire banking industry in future.
The program was concluded with the distribution of certificates amongst the participants.
