Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) AD Khowaja said on Saturday that police were busy in taking action against criminals without any indiscriminate and their sole aim was only to restore peace and protect life and property of people.
In a statement issued here, he asked media men not to make speculations relating to criminals, terrorists and high-profile cases, as criminals could take benefit from it. He said, ‘We have always shared the information with media about operations against criminals and strategy, because the police know that only media could better guide the people’.
He further said that the police would give answers to media questions, but it should avoid making speculations about high-profile cases.
