In a bold prediction, TV talk show political analyst Dr Shahid Masood said that Donald Trump is, indeed, going to be the next president of the United States.
“Yes, it isn’t going to be Hillary if my calculations are correct, and it most definitely will not be Bernie Sanders,” he said on his show on ARY.
“People think that I have a near-omniscient awareness only of the Pakistani political scene, but they vastly underestimate me,” he said. “I have immense knowledge of the American political system and its people. Drawing upon that knowledge, I know that Donald Trump will beat Hillary Clinton to become president.”
This isn’t the first time Masood has made such a bold prediction. Back in 2014, he predicted that Narinder Modi will become the prime minister of India just one day after the BJP swept the country to form the first single-party majority the country had seen in a number of years.
“I also predict Trump’s appointment won’t go all too well for Pakistan,” he concluded.
