Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanveer has said that investigation report into the Gaddani incident has been prepared and will be presented to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday.
He was addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Friday.
A number of people had lost their lives when an explosion rocked an oil tanker at Gaddani ship breaking yard.
The minister said that the investigation report also envisages several recommendations to avert such incidents in future.
He said the recommendations also included the establishment of maritime ministry. He said it has also been proposed to establish a special board comprising experts from the relevant industry.
The minister said that cases have been registered against those behind the incident.
