The Frontier Corps (FC) arrested eight militants after brief firing and recovered arms and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) here on Friday.
A spokesperson for the FC said that the paramilitary troops and intelligence agency personnel reacted to a tip-off regarding the location of militants, and conducted an operation in Hoshab area of Turbat in Kech district. Weapons including four RPGs, seven rockets, five rifles, IEDs, safety fuses, other instruments, and 63 kilograms of hashish were also recovered.
The militants were shifted to an undisclosed location for detainment and interrogation.
