Ibad’s health issues, allegations probably led to his removal

An investigation into the change of the Sindh governor has revealed that Dr Ibad himself doesn’t want to hold the office due to health issues arisen after repeated allegations of supporting Muttaheda Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder leader Altaf Hussain levelled by Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chief Mustafa Kamal, Pakistan Today has learnt reliably.

Reliable sources in the Sindh Governor’s House told this scribe that Dr Ibad has been continuously complaining issue of low blood pressure after October 18, the day when Mustafa Kamal accused him of supporting Altaf Hussain and demanded putting his name on Exit Control list (ECL). “Dr Ibad has two options; to start confrontation with Mustafa Kamal and secondly his family was insisting to leave the post due to poor health condition,” the sources claimed.

The sources said that the Sindh governor called law-enforcers on October 18 to bring all the cases in which Mustafa Kamal was nominated to start confrontation. “As per the sources, On October 18 night, they saw many law enforcers visiting the Sindh Governor’s House with files of cases in which Kamal was nominated’.

“On October 19, Dr Ibad fell unconscious in Governor House due to low blood pressure when he was scheduled to inaugurate Trauma Centre at Superhighway,” the sources said, adding, “Doctors were called and Dr Ibad after treatment participated in the programme.

From that day, he started complaining about issues of low blood pressure and according to the sources he himself requested the federal government that he cannot carry this pressure office and he wanted to leave as his family consistently forced him to leave this office.
