Power load-shedding across the country will be reduced to half from Tuesday (Today) on the directives of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The Ministry of Water and Power announced that electricity load-shedding in urban areas will be reduced from six hours to three hours and in rural areas from eight hours to four hours on the directives of the Prime Minister.
The Ministry of Water and Power further informed that in areas where a majority does not pay electricity bills or low recovery areas, load-shedding will remain the same.
The prime minister has assigned the task to the Secretary Water and Power to effectively implement the decision.
