Dense smog on Monday has continued to disrupt routine life in parts of the country as citizens are facing immense difficulties in travelling.
The early morning smog dropped visibility to zero in Karachi after which schedule of several flights faced delay.
On the other hand, the winter has arrived in the upper areas of the country as the temperature has been decreased to –1 degrees in Ziarat and Kallat while 2 degrees were recorded in Quetta.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.
The smoggy and foggy weather condition will continue to engulf the plain areas of Punjab province in the next week mostly in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur and Sukkur divisions.
