Sanction India to put an end to its brutalities in Kashmir: Mishal Malik

Mishal Malik, wife of arrested Hurriyet leader Yasin Malik, said her husband and the people of Indian-held Kashmir were being poisoned. She asked the UN and world powers to intervene in Indian occupied Kashmir and put economic sanctions on India to stop it from murdering innocent Kashmiris.

‘Small children have been killed and blinded by use of brute force and pellet guns. Schools remain closed for past many years and the world’s biggest democracy is setting a poor precedent of human rights in IoK,’ said Malik, chairperson Peace and Cultural Organisation while talking to media during a protest held on Jammu Martyrs Day here.

Malik while addressing the protesters said, ‘More than 500,000 Muslims were slaughtered back in 1947 on this very day because they were opposing Dogra raj. The nature and intensity of atrocities committed in Kashmir is severer than mankind witnessed in world war.’

Malik also demanded that all imprisoned leaders of Hurriyat Conference be shifted abroad as her husband is in critical condition and his kidneys have stopped working. ‘The Hurriyat leaders are not given proper medical treatment as medicines are short in the valley, my husband Yasin Malik has been left as a living corpse,’ she said.

Former Federal Minister, J Salik while speaking to the media, said the minorities of Pakistan condemn the atrocities committed by India in Kashmir. These atrocities had to be brought to a stop; India has committed gross violations of international Human Rights Law of International human Rights law. “It is about time that the Prime Minister of Pakistan and Imam-e-Kaaba play their respective role in bringing a resolution to Kashmir dispute” he said. “We demand that torture on Hurriyat leaders stop immediately and UN play its role as promised by resolutions on Kashmir,” he said.

November 6th is observed every day to remember the martyrs who gave their lives when armed bandits of RSS, Indian forces and and troops of Dogra rulers slaughtered them en masse. The number of deaths is put from 2.5 laws to half a million.

The participants demanded that government of Pakistan take every step to internationalise the Kashmir cause and present its case on all forums. At regular intervals slogans against India and in favor of Hurriyat leaders were also raised.
